PAR 2005 Billet Gearset - Nissan SR20 FWD Synchromesh Engagement Spur(Straight) Cut.
These are a replacement gearset for RS5F32A/V gearbox fitted to the Nissan N14, N15, P10 and P11 cars with the SR20DE engine or SR20DET conversion.
* Large input shaft with larger number of splines (Much stronger and less liable to twist - 24 vs 18)
* Replaceable 3rd and 4th gears on the input/main shaft for easy replacement/ratio change
* The latest technology has allowed the use of much more aggressive tooth profiles to provide extra strength and durability whilst helping to absorb separating forces
The standard helical 5th gear is used to retain factory NVH levels during cruise. A billet 5th gear may be specially ordered if required for high power, high speed applications.
With the use of the standard shifting and synchromesh components, factory shift reliability and quality is realised whilst keeping the upgrade cost to a minimum.
Gear Ratios:
1st - 3.11
2nd - 1.85
3rd - 1.24
4th - 0.96
5th - std factory item(ratio dependant on vehicle)
This gearset requires a special clutch with a 24 spline hub driven plate. The normal RS5F32A clutch is a 215mm x 18 spline hub. If required, both sprung centre and rigid centre clutches are available for purchase in the Driveline/Clutches section.
